Yuma Stats® is the follow-on business from Norton Consulting who provided quality data for the Yuma area for decades. For a brief period following Mr. Norton's retirement, regional reporting duties passed to Arizona Western College in the form of their Lower Colorado Economic Report. As demand for data grew in coincidence with last decade's extraordinary economic growth, a need for more timely and diverse data became apparent.
With Yuma's economy expanding, Yuma Stats® began operations during July 2005. The initial subscriber base was comprised of regional banks seeking a data source for credit committees, commercial and consumer. Through 2011, all regional 5-star banks are Yuma Stats® subscribers.
The utility of our data summaries did not go unnoticed by regional interests outside of the banking industry. Our subscribership has grown to include diverse entities who value first-hand data. They include appraisers, developers, and other interests who benefit from timely access to vital growth metrics.
Through the years Yuma Stats® has collaborated with several larger data companies. The result has been a continual evolution of data but at lower cost than found in larger markets. We are a home business in order to contain overhead costs and have continued to offer products that always exceed expectations. According to past data users, Yuma Stats® is both a value and resource that cannot be found elsewhere.
Well into our sixth year as Yuma's premiere data reporters, we are proud to be part of Yuma's informed growth dynamic. We believe that our data provides a distinct competitive advantage for Yuma's "winners" and will continue our contribution to those successes into the future.
